My kids love Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. There hasn’t been a good sale on these in a while, so we have been cinnamon roll-less.
I made homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch, but my oldest said he likes the Pillsbury ones better. What is wrong with that kid?! Really, it wasn’t all bad – that meant more for me!
Sunday morning for breakfast I had an idea to make cinnnamon rolls with crescents. I unrolled the crescent dough, spread butter on it and sprinkled cinnamon and sugar over the top. I rolled the dough and cut it into approximately 1 inch pieces and placed the “mini cinnis” into a pan. I followed the baking directions on the can and removed them when they were browned. They were yummy, easy and my kids got their cinnamon roll fix.
